MSAD #1 District Safety Coordinator
MSAD #1 will be using the “I Love U Guys” Foundation safety protocols as well as the “Raptor Alert” cell phone application (app) with school staff. In the event of an emergency, these tools allow us to improve communication and to account for both students and staff in and around our buildings.
The safety protocols from the “I Love U Guys Foundation” are research-based practices and are used in over 40,000 schools. These protocols allow our schools to respond effectively in all types of hazards or emergencies using five simple commands: Hold, Secure, LockDown, Evacuate and Shelter.
