Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you and your family well during this unprecedented time.
In light of the recent “Stay Healthy at Home” order from Governor Mills, the Special Education Office is making changes to comply and help keep our staff and students safe.
All special education documents will be sent to parents and guardians via email. Documents will be sent as PDFs and be password protected.
Documents will be sent to email addresses that were provided on your child’s student information sheet that were completed at the beginning of the school year. If an email address was not provided, we will hold documents to mail when this pandemic has passed.
If we do not hear differently from you, we will assume you are in agreement with the approach we are taking. If you would prefer to defer emailing of documents in favor of having them mailed when this pandemic has passed, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will honor your request.
Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate these new challenges. I have been especially impressed by the commitment of school staff to ensure continuation of services for our students, and the patience and support we have received from parents.
